Australian owned and operated honey products and beekeeping supply business in historic Braidwood, NSW.

We’re Scott and Armonde, a husband and wife team who have been in the honey industry since 2004. We are passionate about providing our customers with good quality products at value for money prices while at the same time doing what we can to protect the health and wellbeing of bees because let’s face it we are buggered without them.

Our bees.

Our bees live a happy life foraging and collecting nectar from the flowers of the season around the forests and farm lands of Braidwood, NSW.

We welcome the bees in their pursuit of following the flowering events and the honey flow and in the same time, helping them to bear fruit.

We thank the bees for sharing their honey, produced as their food source. Honey has provided us humans with a substance with nutritional and medicinal qualities as well as great flavours and culinary enjoyment.

More and more people are beginning to realise the importance of bees and the vital role that they play in our survival, not that we need honey or wax to survive as much as we enjoy it, but without pollination a lot of the food that we love and enjoy would not exist.

Our hives.

Our hives are in the pristine eucalyptus forests mostly between the Braidwood and Batemans Bay area foraging on the different types of eucalypts.

Different types of eucalypts produce different types of honey. Colour, flavour and viscosity changes from month to month.

Due to popular demand and the occasional poor season we sometimes also seek honey from other local beekeepers who have the same passion and follow the same stringent procedures as us.

Our honey.

Our honey is 100% pure Australian honey. No added sugar, chemicals or additives of any kind. Straight out of the hive into a bucket into a jar and onto your toast, the way it should be.

Braidwood is well known for its environmentally friendly and conscious farming practices.

Our honey is cold extracted and coarse filtered, meaning our honey is not heat treated in any way you cannot heat honey over 45 degrees doing so can kill the enzymes in the honey (so never microwave candied honey).

We coarse filter our honey because if we didn’t you would take the lid off your jar of golden deliciousness and there would be a layer of wax and possibly the occasional bee, not really something you need on your toast in the morning. But you will still get particles of pollen and maybe propolis which you do want on your toast.

We sell pure honey, with varieties changing throughout the year depending on what the bees foraged on. We also carry a range of exotics, including creamed honey in plain, chocolate, cinnamon and Bailey's, vanilla honey and combed honey.

Our beekeeping supplies

We supply everything you need to get started in beekeeping from all of your hive components to smokers, hive tools and protective clothing. And when it comes to bees we can put you in touch with bee breeders or swarm collectors whatever you need.

So stick a beehive in your back yard or plant a bee friendly garden or both, we recommend if you wanted to get started in beekeeping to join your local beekeeping association and meet other beekeepers in your local area that share the same passion and maybe even get some hands-on experience and help a member work on a beehive or do a course in the basics of beekeeping.
